Jerry DeBord, Broker and appraiser along with wife Judy (co-owner) are lifelong ranchers. Jerry is a graduate of Texas Tech University with BS and MS Degrees. Following a career in research and Texas Agriculture Extension Service he entered the field of Real Estate. He and Judy have three children and several grandchildren.

Lisa Kidd

Lisa Kidd is a professional Real Estate Agent who has been with DeBord Real Estate for over 23 years. Lisa and her husband, Jerry, own and operate several ranches in the area. Her knowledge of all aspects of the Real Estate industry is invaluable for buyers and sellers. Lisa attended Texas A&M University of which she is a strong supporter. Lisa and Jerry have one daughter who is a pharmacist.

Chris Leifeste

Chris Leifeste has over 12 years in Real Estate. Chris Graduated from Tarleton State University and has been a school teacher, president of the local school board, owner and operator of wildlife supply stores and owns a ranch in Mason County. He brings a broad range of experiences to help all prospects and clients. He and his wife, Teresa, have two children and very active grandchildren who keep them busy.

Colt DeBord has 2 years experience as a Real Estate Agent. He graduated from Dallas Baptist University and has been employed by UPS and a large architectural firm for 20 years. Colt is anxious to help others with their real estate needs. He is also the firm’s expert in computer technology, data analysis and drone virtual tours. He and his wife, Michelle, have three children and live in Brady.

Chad Halfmann is a college graduate who also owns, manages and operates large farms and ranches along with his family. Chad is a very progressive young man who works well with others. He is very active in the Red Angus Association and has completed an internship in Australia. He is an expert in many fields related to ranching, farming and wildlife. Chad has one Daughter and lives in Runnels County. Chad has 17 years experience as a Real Estate Agent.

Gary Bates

Gary Bates is newest agent for DeBord Real Estate. Gary brings a wealth of experience to help with real estate transactions. He is a graduate of Texas A&M with a degree in wildlife science and range management, a  Vietnam Veteran, farmer and rancher. Mr. Bates was employed with the USDA (SCS and NRCS) for 35 years and has 15 years as a Real Estate Agent. Gary also owns and operates a brush spraying business. He and his wife, Elaine, have 4 children and 6 grandchildren.
